Chunky Cuffs

Chunky Crochet Bracelets
cotton yarn, your color choices. it takes very little yarn, you can use scraps you have laying around
size 5 crochet hook
Beginning chain
With your choice color yarn, chain 65, leaving a long beginning tail ( 9 inches should do it) as you will use this tail to sew both ends of bracelet together. You may also adjust the length of the cuff, adding ot subtracting beginning chains for a better fit.
row 1-
do 3 sc in 2nd chain from hook and in each chain across to the last chain, (as you go along the chain will form a spiral) cut yarn, leaving another long tail,
using a large eye sewing needle, thread needle with one of the tails, weave in , then using the other long tail, sew the ends of your bracelet together, knot and weave in tail.
do the same for the next bracelet in your choice color yarn until you have your 4 bracelets.
I am not very good at writing a pattern to read, so if you have any questions, please leave a comment or email me. I would love to see pics of the bracelets you make!!!!

  1. Hi,

I made my long spiral chain, but I can't figure out how to finish it into a bracelet.

  2. What I do is get a large eye needle and thread some matching yarn thru the eye, then sew together each end of the spiral and weave yarn end into the cuff. I hope this helps!

  3. I am off to try making a set of these awesome bracelets. Thanks for sharing the pattern.

  4. Thanks Shannon. I had to go back a make a correction. I would love to see a pic of your bracelets.

  8. Hi Shelby, I'm making a lens about free crocheted bangles pattern. Can I use your picture on my lens? Please...

  9. Yes. Sorry I didnt answer back. I have not been here too much lately!!!

  10. does size 5 crochet hook have a letter size, or is it one of the smallest crochet hooks?
I think it might be and F hook as I have a size 3 hook that says size D or 3.
Do you have to use cotton yarn or would any type of yarn work for these? I make washclothes out of cotton yarn.
I'm going to have to make some of these and add to my Christmas stash.

  11. Gosh, sorry I didn't see this question.
You can use a size G crochet hook and yes any type of yarn will do.

  12. Ok maybe I'm a lil slow or something but I am definetly missing something:(. I have this long spiral chain and when I sew together the ends it's still big enough to go around my neck. PLEASE HELP!!!

    1. Try using fewer chains then the said 65 to have it come out smaller before sewing it together. I ended up using like 35 since I was using a larger hook then she did.

  13. I made a few of these for my daughter last night, they are so cute. :) Thanks for the pattern!
