This is for my friend Laura McCauley. I recently found out she died on Feb. 18, 2014. I met Laura at Ralphs grocery where she worked in the deli. I lived across the street from the store and used to shop there often. One day we struck up a conversation and were fast friends from then on. Laura was very outgoing and friendly. She was beautiful and fun and funny and so full of life. I have many memories of her, going for walks around her apt complex, her little dog and her daughter. I eventually moved away to another state and as it very often happens I lost touch with her. Things change, address and phone numbers change and life just goes on. So now with all that is going on in the world, this deadly virus prompted me to look her up and to my dismay I find out she had passed 6 years ago. And I feel sad. Laura, we were friends for a short time but in that time I grew to love and value you. Someday we will meet again. My beautiful friend.

Reeses Puffs Cereal Review

I love Reeses Puffs cereal and I've been seeing a new Reeses puffs with bigger puffs and finally decided to try them. These puffs are giant compared to regular puffs. I can only fit 3 puffs in my mouth at a time and even that is too much. They taste just like the regular puffs but with an exception. These giant puffs really soak up the milk and get soggy. That being said I will just stick to my regular puffs as they are easier to eat and stay crunchy. But if you like soggy puffs then these are for you.

Materials
any soft yarn, such as red heart super soft, Hobby Lobby's I love this yarn, etc
N hook
yarn needle

Pattern:
ch 66, sc in 2nd  ch from hook , then sc in next 19 ch. ch 1, skip next sc and dc into next ch. Repeat across  until you have 20 stitches remaining, sc into the next st, and each remaining st, ch 1, turn.

row 2 - sc in next 20 sc, ch 1,  dc in next ch space, ch 1, dc in next chain space, continue dc in chain space then sc in remaining 20 stitches, ch 1, turn
Row 3- 7 continue pattern rows as above. Tie off and weave in ends
Your head scarf is finished

Easy Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge

This is my all time favorite fudge and so easy to make.

you will need 

1 can sweetened condensed milk 14 oz
12 oz bag semi chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups peanut butter
You can add 1/4 cup of peanuts, or walnuts also

Line an 8x8 baking pan with foil or parchment paper

Measure out peanut butter first. ( it will be ready to stir in condensed milk and chocolate chips )
Pour can of sweetened condensed milk in glass bowl, add 12 oz bag of chocolate chips and microwave on high for about 2 minutes stirring occasionally.
Remove from microwave and stir in peanut butter and walnuts until smooth,  then pour into baking pan smoothing out the top evenly. Refrigerate about 2 hours or until cold. Lift out foil and cut fudge into squares. I store mine in a plastic container in the fridge.

Makes about 2 pounds of fudge.

Using GPS to track your car...What I found out

Sometimes I feel the need to keep track of things,  namely my car.. You really need to because cars get stolen or you just want to keep track of your teen driver. But how to do it cheaply, with tracking that is in real time. (really). I researched different GPS tracking devices for things and vehicles, but mostly read the reviews because these things are not cheap and if they are, they often don't work all that accurately on the tracking website. Anyway long story short, I have found a way to track my car on the cheap and most of all , it works. 

First you want to have a smart phone you're not using, maybe you upgraded to a new phone but still have the old one lying in a drawer somewhere. I just happened to still have my last cell phone so I called my cell company.  Since I hadn't used it in about 4 years they had to send me new SIM card. Once I got the SIM card, I replaced the old one then had the phone activated with a new number. And best of all the added phone number is only costing me 20.00 per month. Super good! Since my old phone is an android I then used it to download an app called life 360 from the play store. You will have to make a user name and password once you download the app, and after that's done you are set!
 Life 360 is an app that is used for family members to keep track of each other using what is called circles but since you will be keeping track of your car  you will be the only member in your circle. Look around the app to get familiar with it. Next I then went into the settings of my phone and uninstalled any apps I didn't need. This will reduce the battery use saving it for the tracking. Also and this is important, go in and turn off the sound to anything that might make the phone ring or beep. You want the phone to be quiet because you will be hiding it somewhere in your car. Honestly this is a great way to keep track of your car and I will just say it, ladies if you think your man might be lying to you about his comings and goings or he is having an affair, this is the best way to find out.  This will only keep track of the vehicle it's in and not the person once they leave the vehicle but hey...at least you can know for sure where they are when he or she says they will be at one place and tracking shows a different place. Just make sure your phone is always fully charged and place it somewhere in the car where it won't bounce or slide around while the car is in motion.  Most phones when devoid of all apps sucking battery life will stay on for more than 24 hours.  Now you will need to go to your laptop or pc, sign into the Life 360 website and viola! You can now track the car in real time!!!
